Shot entirely on a tiny digital Sony Cyber Shot camera that lives in my party purse, Kiss Cam is a collection of photographs documenting Queer intimacy on the dance floor. Centered around parties within Los Angeles’ BIPOC queer community, these photographys were taken during my usual midnight escapades. This work features real time snapshots of connectinos shared among lovers, strangers, freinds, and everything inbetween. In a time of rising fascism it is crucial to document moments of tenderness.
In these spaces, every smooch becomes an act of resistance and power. Every pucker is an archive of joy and presence.
